One of the hidden treasures of the year-round farmers market calendar is Gossetts’ Farm Market, at Gossett Brothers Nursery, on Route 35. It’s year-round, every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. In addition to the unmatched gathering of local food vendors and craftspeople, Gossetts, as a full nursery, can help you with any stage of your home garden, composting needs, or landscaping project.
In fact, it was the market that enabled Gossetts to go from being a mostly seasonal business to being a year-round hub of activity.
Several years ago, Tom Gossett was looking for ideas to enhance the Nursery’s role in the community during the long winter months, when the Nursery might normally closed. Pat Imbimbo, owner of New England Farms, was managing a small farmers market looking for a location that could host them year round. As fate would have it, Tom bumped into Pat, and in the fall of 2008, Gossetts Farm Market was born.

JOHN FAZIO FARMS – Local meats from Modena, NY. Selections include fresh rabbits, chickens and ducks. They also sell London Broil, Rib-eye, T-Bone, NY strip steak.

PRECISION CUTLERY SHARPENING – If it has a blade, Matt can sharpen it and bring it back to its original condition. Bring your kitchenware, hatchet, knife, ax, pocketknife or anything else that needs sharpening. “Your knives will be treated with care and the proper handling that they deserve.”
PICKLELICIOUS – Homemade pickles, olives, sundried tomatoes and sauerkrauts. (every 2nd week).

WAVE HILL BREADS – Local artisan breads, made the morning of the market. Plus great Balsamic vinegar and olive oils for dipping.
